New Years

So I am still catching are a couple of photos from New Years. We spent the evening with our friends C and N and their 2 kiddos. It's nice to have friends with kids so we can just relax! We made clam chowder in bread bowls and had some dessert and relaxed. G had fun playing with J and E as you can see from these pictures.
J went outside and banged pots and pans and said "Happy New Year!" for everyone. It may or may not have been a little earlier than midnight! We thought the kids might be more fun if they went to bed before midnight! G woke up 10 minutes to midnight and I let him stay up to experience his first new year.

One day I'll figure this blogging thing out!!!

So I haven't blogged since the first time. Why? I don't know, I guess it just didn't cross my mind with all the diaper changing, feeding, playing, cleaning, grocery shopping, bathing, etc. I do! Don't get me wrong, it's all worth it! So, here are a couple of quick updates on the goings on of our family.

1st, I just thought this picture was cute! K took it one day after G had woken up from a nap. We still haven't found the courage to cut his hair yet! As you can see, it gets a little crazy after a long night of sleep!

This picture was taken when we had our first big snow storm. I put G in this cute little snowsuit and hauled him out into the snow...he loved it! That is until daddy made him lay down in it! He wasn't such a fan of that, but he loved to pick up the snow and feel how cold it was. Naturally he eventually discovered putting it in his mouth, like everything else! I think it's funny how he blends in with the snow in his suit! He looks like a big puffy marshmallow! We just had another huge snowstorm so I think we'll have to go out and play again!

G loves eating big boy food! He would rather eat food than a bottle most times it seems. This picture was actually taken with my phone, but was so darn cute I had to put it on the computer! He is getting really good at eating a few solid things too. He loves Cheerios and those baby puff things. After his 9 month check up the other day his doctor said he could start on Stage 3 foods, so he has been getting some new tastes like spaghetti and broccoli. He ate all of the spaghetti, but was very unhappy with the broccoli and cheese. That is the first thing I have seen him not want, usually he will eat EVERYTHING! He especially loves pears and applesauce!

This was at the S family Christmas party. Just a rare family shot I thought I would include! G had lots of fun playing with all of his cousins. As you can tell from this he was a little tuckered out and done with the festivities! He always makes the funniest faces!

This was my favorite of his Christmas morning pictures. He just looks happy, plus it shows off how he really preferred the boxes over the toys!!!

And now for my favorite picture! He got this little suit from Grandma K for Christmas and I couldn't wait to take him to church in it!!! Then I had this brilliant idea with some photoshopping!!! I love how this turned out. So there's some updates in a nutshell! I'll leave you now with this cute picture!
