Great idea.........pass it on!
Gratitude Campaign......
And a big thank you to my step-dad for serving this country for over 20 years. WE LOVE YOU!
This is pretty neat.....(short video)... Have you ever seen one of
our military walking past you and wanted to convey to them your thanks,
but weren't sure how, or it felt awkward?
Recently, a gentleman from Seattle created a gesture which could be
used to express your thanks and has started a movement to get the word
out..
Please everybody take just a moment to watch....... The Gratitude
Campaign ...and then forward it to your friends!
……….THEN START USING THE SIGN.

Princess...er, I mean Prince....

My niece Kenna has a new obsession with a princess crown. She DOES NOT leave the house without it. It's actually really cute. In fact, at my cousins wedding she had stopped wearing it for a second and I mentioned it and you should have seen her face when she realized she didn't have it on. Good thing her mom had remembered to bring it, or I imagine my name would have been cursed for bringing it up!
Anyway, after a fun filled night of swimming at Grandma's birthday we put the crown on Gavin and made him pose....oh the blackmail this will be used for :)
Myah was already sleeping so here is a picture of her looking not so princessish, but cute all the same :)

Dancing...

Lately Gavin has taken to dancing. The plus side is, he has stopped asking me to turn my music off all the time. The downside...the poor kid obviously got his dancing skills from his father.... :) Honestly, I'm not much of a dancer either, so he was just doomed from the start! Anyway, here's a cute video of him dancing to his favorite country song "Sideways". If you can hear over my laughing, he's actually singing some of the words. I also have to apologize for the video shaking so much...I was laughing too hard!
This video was taken while Austin, Chelsea and Myah were here visiting...here is a picture of the cute girl Gavin got to hang with after his "show".

Wedding

Congratulations to my cousin Marjorie and her husband James! They tied the knot on Saturday and we were able to attend. It was great to see family that I haven't seen in awhile and their ceremony was SOOOOOO good! I always feel a little cheated on our wedding ceremony...it might have something to do with it being at 8:20 in the morning...or maybe it was that there were 52 weddings in the Salt Lake Temple that day...anyway, I always find myself thinking everyone else had a much more memorable ceremony and this one lived up to that! (I guess it doesn't matter seeing as how I got the best groom..........)
My dad was the photographer with a small bit of help from me...which I thought was fabulous because it meant I was always BEHIND the camera! He did an amazing job and then he lets me do the fun editing part. Here are just a few to showcase their special day! Congrats you guys!

Kennecott Copper Mine

Yesterday we went to the Kennecott Copper Mine with some neighbors and friends. I think I vaguely remember going when I was very young so I thought it would interesting. Keith has wanted to go forever so I'm glad we finally did. I have to be honest...it was just ok. I think it's really interesting that it's man made and you can see it from space, but it's not like I was in space looking at it.....
Anyway, Gavin of course loved the big trucks and tractors and there was a visitors center that had some interesting stuff and a video about what goes on there. I thought that was interesting minus my child who threw a fit during it and had to be taken out (by Keith, thank you!) It's pretty amazing how much copper and other things they produce there.
The best part was just being with friends and afterwards we went to Training Table and then a park and visited. Keith's friend growing up has recently moved just around the corner from us and I am really enjoying having them around! They are a cute family and their brother and sister in law live not to far so it's fun to get together with everyone. Of course, I took no pictures of them, but we'll get together again soon I'm sure!

Being with my guys, my favorite part!
Gavin's favorite exhibit
Please ignore how beautiful we all look, this was the end of the trip and it was slightly windy, Gav hadn't had a nap and mom and dad were slightly tired from chasing after him! Oh yea, and I'm fat!!!

Isn't he cute?

We were very bored today....despite all of the productive things we could do...so I dressed Gav up in some cute clothes and took pictures of him playing in the yard. I had some new editing techniques I learned that I wanted to try out. The techniques worked great...my subject was less than enthusiastic about posing! He was MUCH more interested in the dirt he could be playing in. Anyway, here's a couple cute ones....
