Oh the things he says and does....

Gavin always does/says some funny stuff at church. Yesterday was no exception! After the sacrament prayer he very loudly says, "Hey mom, can we talk louder now?" It took all I had not to laugh out loud! I finally calmed down and reminded him that we still needed to whisper (which I might add is not one of his strong points!) He is so cute! He loves going to nursery and always prays about his church and teachers which I think is so cute. He is such a thoughtful, sweet boy already. I can hardly believe that in 2 short months he will be 3.

Also on the way home from a friends last night we passed 1 of the 4 churches on the road just south of our house (crazy, huh?!). It wasn't ours but he said, "Hey mom, there's my church." I said, "That ones not ours buddy," so he says, "Oh, right. Mom, is that Santa Claus' church?" HUH?! At least he knows Santa must be righteous :) Gavin still has a fascination with Santa since Christmas and is in fact almost certain that it is Santa that brings him birthday presents! I half expected him to think Santa brought him his valentine stuff, but he was pretty sure that was our neighbor, Jeri!

I am such an Olympics junkie and I think it is starting to rub off on Gavin. He was watching figure skating with me the other night and I didn't have the heart to make him go to bed so I let him stay cuddled with me on my bed watching it. He kept asking me who everyone was and I didn't catch one persons name so I told him I didn't know. He then informed me that it was him and every trick the skater would do he said, "Look at me spin mom!" Then all the sudden he stands up and asks me if he can show me how he spins. It was HILARIOUS! Gavin got his coordination from both his mother and father so it was pretty funny to watch! I made him go out in the living room and show me some of his moves so I could record it. I will upload it here in just a bit. Be prepared to laugh!

All in all, I am one lucky mom!
