A few months ago I joined a bowling league with my step-mom and her neighbor. I think we're the youngest ones on the league and we have our own balls and shoes, so maybe that does seem a little nerdy, but I have more fun on Mondays than any other day of the week! I seriously look forward to our weekly games and I can't wait to see if I have improved. We've definitely grown and improved as a team, and the best part is the fun that we have together. I love the feeling I get when we do well, and I love being funny when we're losing!
Well, we've always just said we were just doing it for fun and it didn't matter if we lost, but we found out last week that we were in a 3 way tie for 1st place! Today was our bowl off and I am proud to say that we took 1st place!!! This means that we automatically get to advance to the main finals in May! We were probably a little dumbfounded (seriously, we really aren't all that great) but the competitive nature in us really came out today and we had a blast winning! Thanks, Amy and Andrea for being such great teammates! (Seriously, if we didn't win I was going to consider switching teams......j/k!)
So, Jer, you might think I have a dorky hobby, but I would ask you this....Have you ever taken 1st place in a bowling tournament????? HAHA, Love ya!
And here's a picture of my favorite bowler.....

I think it sounds and looks like fun!!! Go Janelle's team!!!
haha I Love it! I will have to get lessons from you. Matt and I go bowling on base but I never improve. I am just happy when I break 100. Yeah I suck. I hope your team wins and you can display your oh so classy bowling trophy in your home. I definantly would.
So funny! My sil has been asking for years for me to join, I would, except I am the worlds worst bowler. We went bowling last weekend and Sam DOUBLED my score, and Maddie beat me too! I only came in 5th because Brin gave up! So sad. You be proud of your bowling self! I'm proud of you!
I think it's great to find something that you love to to! I haven't been bowling in a long time, but I really enjoy it to. My best friend and I even took a bowling class at Ricks for fun and that is where she met her husband! You go girl and you kick some tail on those lanes! :-)
