Pregnancy Update

I wish I could say that I love being pregnant, but I don't. At all. Okay, I think I remember liking the baby moving, but I'm pretty sure that was it. So far...I haven't found anything new that I like. In fact, I'm pretty sure it has been slightly more awful this time. That might be due to the fact that I have a 2 year old to take care of this time around. Honestly, you people out there who love it and never get sick...well, you can just imagine what I am thinking about you right about now!

I have definitely been more sick this time around. Not so much that I throw up more (because I threw up just as much with Gavin. My record is 9 times in one day for you people who like that info) but with Gav, I would throw up and instantly feel better until I had to again. With this pregnancy I throw up and still feel yucky. I have been fortunate enough to feel pretty decent for about the past 3 weeks, but I seem to have fallen back into it again the last 3 or so days. Hopefully this will pass very soon!!! Then maybe I can remember that I like being a mother and the thought that I have created life, and feeling the baby move and all that.

I actually have started feeling the baby a little bit. It's just those first few slight little bumps in my stomach, but they are starting to give me hope!

I'm hoping to not have such a giant baby this time. My new Dr. has informed me that I will most certainly be induced early which is a huge plus if you ask me!!!

I have one craving all the time lately. Nachos. Not the good nachos from a nice Mexican restaurant...I want the cheap gas station nachos loaded with jalapeños. Apparently Keith is tired of running to the gas station for me because this is what I found when I woke up this morning....

Unfortunately, I walked into the kitchen, saw them, thought "Oh how sweet!", and ran to the bathroom. I apparently do not crave them for breakfast! Also, I'm a little concerned he thought I needed this much. Maybe I need to cut back a bit.....

For those of you who stayed through this long post of me whining...tomorrow is the big day!!! Pink or Blue will hopefully be determined (baby cooperating of course!) I'm very, very excited and glad that this has been a busy week so it's gone fast. I'm still guessing boy, so you all may get to laugh at my motherly intuition tomorrow! My appt. is very late in the day and then we are going to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house right after, so it will be an evening post.

You are so funny!! I love the way even your misery is enjoyable to read. Wow, that sounds bad coming from your Mommy!! I do hope you feel better soon and remain that way for the remainder of the pregnancy. I totally relate to the sickness, my lasted 9 months and my record was also 9 times in one day!! Please don't try to beat my record, not a good plan!! Can't wait to hear that you are having a girl tomorrow! Either pink or blue is fine with me, but my guess is still girl! Let me know ASAP!

I loved that after having Hyrum at 10 lb. 14 oz. which is big to just about everyone I know...except you :o), that they induced me early with my other two-Alec was 2 weeks early and was still 8 lb. 10 oz.-that would have been terrible full term. Sorry your feeling so blah-It'll get better in, oh, about 5 months :o)

Dude...I totally forgot that Gavin was sooooooooooo huge when he was born. That better not run in the family or something. Assuming I ever get pregnant haha. Cant wait for the big news tomorrow!!!!

Please, please, please, let me come and get Gavin one day next week for awhile. Brinley would love to have a buddy to play with. I'm sorry you have felt so crappy! And seriously, I love that Keith bought you the big box of snacks. Remind me to tell you my crazy craving story one time! Hang in there! And post soon--can't wait to hear the news!

So sorry you are feeling so crappy & that this time around seems even worse. Your not alone -- I didn't enjoy being pregnant at all either and felt sick (like I had the flue) all the time for the first 4 months. Your hubby is too cute with the mondo mega nacho supply. Hang in there -- hope it gets better for you. Anytime you need a break give me call -- Connor would love to play with Gavin.
